Positively Plantain donates 10% of its profit to 3 Amazing Organizations - because we couldn't choose just one!
15 million people in the United States have food allergy, a serious medical condition. The people over at FARE (Aka Food Allergy Research and Education) are providing these statistics as well as developing new therapies to help manage these types of allergies. We at Positively Plantain are not just committed to creating food that is allergen free, but also advocating for those affected by food allergies by donating part of our profit to FARE.
1 in 13 kids under the age of 18 have a food allergy. We're willing to bet you have a friend or family member who experiences an allergic reaction to certain foods. The crazy thing is that these allergies are on the rise. From 1997-2011, food allergy in children increased by 50 PERCENT – in just 14 years!!
Our biggest goal in creating Positively Plantain tortillas was that they could be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of any food allergy.
